Why 0.01, in my opinion, it does not make any difference which is the minimum lot, and which lot to enter the market, even if the minimum is 1.00. This probably should not make any difference.

I agree with Vitaly. Since the initial deposit is not large, I suggest opening accounts with the leverage of 1:500.

I met a brokerage company where I opened a real account for $10,000 and there was even a brokerage company with 0.001 lot.

There is a subtlety: one doesn't care about leverage, it's more important than the point value.

Our task - to provide equal starting conditions - but not limiting them too much.

The leverage affects only on the margin charged. The pip value is the same with any leverage. So I am in favour of opening with any leverage.
