Are there any trading robots in our galaxy that make money instead of losing??????? - page 27

Alexey Busygin:
Profit 100 and loss 0
Profit 100 - so all trades are profitable ?

Yuri Evseenkov:
Agreed. The percentage of profitable trades depends on the TP/SL ratio. I am currently testing a trading robot with a percentage of 95-97. But the final result is fluctuating around zero. A couple of large stop-losses can easily outbid dozens of small profits.
Then we just should not set those stop losses.)

Mike:
Then you just don't put those stop losses.)
How do you not? The robot does.

Mike:
Profit 100 - so all trades are profitable ?
Well, why would we want to make a loss?

Yuri Evseenkov:
So how not to bet? The robot does.
And you tell him not to.

Alexey Busygin:
And you forbid him.
You need a magic wand.

Yuri Evseenkov:
You need a magic wand.
And in the settings, what can't you adjust?

Alexey Busygin:
And in the settings, what can't you adjust?
You can. If you set a smaller stop, it makes more losses. If you set a bigger one, it sits in a drawdown for a long time.

Yuri Evseenkov:
You can. If you set a smaller stop, you get more losses. If you set a bigger one, it sits in a drawdown for a long time.
And if you set it at zero.

Alexey Busygin:
And if you set it to zero.
You don't know how long it's going to be in a slump.
