Where do people go on holiday? And who does?
Grandpa Pychto... Get your eyes open.
Probably afraid to shake off their fat, it's a long way to go). But seriously, people in the USA are afraid of being made friends of Russia, which is the gravest sin there. Even the current president of the United States has to reckon with it.
The explanation is very simple, but you failed to see it because of your political myopia. but it was so before, now they go to Russia more and more often, and then they get surprised - people here are kinder, more sympathetic, women are more beautiful, and there are no bears with balalaikas.
You are a strange comrade from one backward country to another backward country. What's the point? What is the point?
You should create a choir, something like the Turetsky Choir. I would go to a concert. Why not?
You should create a choir, like the Turetsky Choir. I'd go to a concert. Why not?
A choir could also be created.
The main answer is: Why did youmove from one backward country to another backward country?
Grandpa Pihto... Get your eyes open.
Unless it's Grandpa Pihto on the pond next door.
So you'll pay back the money for the Lend-Lease first. Otherwise what kind of bonds are you going to demand? There is a lot of debate on this issue, for example I debate why Lavrov's daughter is living and studying in the US, maybe she has already studied and is just living?
It is also debatable why members of the Duma and the Russian pop scene go to Germany or Spain for treatment. Is the local medicine so flawed that they have to seek their fortune abroad?
Any unforeseen moment has already arrived, it is time to claim their bonds.
No one remembers now what motivated Lenya Shpulman to go to Russia. ...
I wish they had told me more about Lenya Golubkov and more letters.
Where do people go on holiday? And by whom?
Foreign tourists are increasingly willing to go to Russia
Read here.
Foreign tourists are increasingly willing to travel to Russia
"Tour operators admit: Russia's attractiveness is growing, partly because of the weakening national currency. The cheap rouble is probably the main incentive for foreign tourists."
Sometimes you have to read to the end... backward countries also get a lot of tourists travelling, but for what reasons...

Foreign tourists are increasingly willing to go to Russia
It is one thing to rest, and another to gaze at the exotic (and exotics come in all sorts of forms). "More and more willingly" is a comparison with the previous year. It's just that in previous years they travelled less, and now it's a pre-election relaxation.
Initially, it was about the development (survival, reconstruction) of the country and the economy during the USSR-Russia period (up to the present day). Data were given for this period. The last two or three negative years inclusive. Any information is publicly available to draw conclusions. The conclusions are that, on the whole, the Russian economy is coming back to life. And the standard of living of citizens has stabilised, has risen.
You don't believe the forecasts, and this year is not over yet. Accordingly, most of the statistics for 2016 have already been released. And gradually the data for the current year is being pulled up. Partly multidirectional.
For as long as I can remember, the Cold War has always gone on. Back then, in the 90s, we would have been torn apart if not for the nuclear missiles sticking out in all directions and the missile forces remaining always on duty. There have always been and, as we see now, continue to be obstacles to development for our country. It may not have turned out painlessly, but communism also helped a lot to keep the country from being torn apart in the not too distant past. And there have always been happy and unhappy. There were the rich and the poor. There were traitors and patriots. But we managed to save the country. By gaining experience "in battle", we learn quickly. We adapt quickly to new realities. We recreated and strengthened our sovereignty. And all this in the midst of endless obstacles. And with brilliant prospects for the future, as a super power with prestige in the world.
About Nord Stream 2:
Nord Stream 2 will be realised (eventually).
As never before, one can see how negatively the new sanctions have been received in Europe.
"The Old World has traditionally been the states' main ally in pressuring Russia. It cannot be said that Europe has greeted the new sanctions package with optimism. Germany, France and Austria have already criticised Washington's decision. In particular, Merkel (one of Europe's key leaders) has clearly stated that sanctions and the interests of European countries should not be confused. Old Europe is starting to realize that if it is not possible to talk on equal terms with the states, it is time to start cutting its dependence. At least not to join the new sanctions. During the period of sanctions against our country, Europe itself has suffered (not suffered) more. They are now only concerned about how to implement a strategically important project with the Russians without putting their companies (BASF, OMV, Engie) at risk.
The earlier sanctions hit agriculture the hardest. As can be seen, Brussels does not care about farmers' problems, as they are not directly affected.
But the new package of sanctions directly affects the companies that fill the budget. And the countries themselves have significant shares in these companies.
It is impossible (difficult and dangerous) to give up the Nord Stream 2 project. And it is understood there. All this talk about dependence on Russia seems to remain just rhetoric...
Today, Europe is facing the future of its budget-funding companies. And it is even adjusting the rules so that Gazprom can legally implement the project. Europe has come to realise that Ukraine's GTS will soon collapse and if it does not, transit through Ukraine is best abandoned.
The euro-savvy officials are used to living in affluence, comfort and warmth. The Europeans are savvy that only expensive slate from the states, or supplies from the Gulf (Qatar, Saudi-Arab) can be considered as a diversification of supplies from Russia.. . It seems they are already tired and no longer want to depend on either of them. Everyone is frozen and waiting to see what happens next. After all, Merkel made a big, stupid mistake when she said to migrants: - "Welcome." And she has thrown the whole of Europe into some kind of dependency on Turkey. They certainly don't want, in addition, to fall into dependence on Qatar and the Saudis. Obviously, Merkel will take the chance to make amends for her gross miscalculation. And Macron needs a precedent to prove he didn't become president for nothing. European leaders have a direct need to defend Nord Stream 2 . After all, they were able to implement Nord Stream 1. Amid the results of the South Stream fiasco, Europe is realising what it smells like to go after the states.
In the history of Russian hydrocarbon supplies to its foreign partners, Russia has proven to be reliable and unbiased.
When the South Stream project was obstructed, Russia eventually scrapped it irrevocably. Even as some countries whimpered, realising their loss.
The US admits that all the past (imposed) sanctions have had little effect on us. Moreover, they see that the more sanctions we impose, the stronger we become. But they themselves are losing credibility in the eyes of the world community. We are fast learners. We remember past mistakes. We understand what the stakes are. We have learned to operate within limitations and obstacles. We reinforce attitudes towards us by creating different poles of development. Which draws out a new framework.
There are proponents in the US of normalising relations with Russia, which includes Trump himself. He just cannot declare it directly, in order to avoid additional attacks. However, the new American president is not a timid one. He will try to push through a package of amendments to the anti-Russian sanctions law. So as not to finally spoil relations with Russia.
Well, Europe is not what it used to be. Now that Britain is not with them, it's easier for the Europeans to regulate their own affairs.
