Brother Belarusians, will this be enforced ???
Amendments to the Code of Administrative Offences, which oblige Belarusians to use only websites registered in the national segment of the Internet, will come into force on 6 January 2012. Those who try to offer their goods and services on non-Belarusian sites will face a fine of $40 to $125. It will cost $125 if you want to see what the banned sites write. The same amount will be paid by Internet service providers if such sites are not disconnected. If collective access points do not establish control over its visitors (identification of subscribers' devices and users, storing information about them and websites visited), they will have to pay a fine from $20 to $60 in equivalent. The KGB, the Interior Ministry, the SCC and tax authorities are mandated to monitor compliance with the new requirements.
