Does the Grail exist? - page 196

Yeah, that's right. he found the GRAAL and instead of making a billion dollars, he started selling it for cheap. you convinced him.

created for retail. You got me on that one, I confess.

but the db itself is a market maker, why doesn't it use its own quotes? and, characteristically, i couldn't find a "trust management" reference in the retail centre.

FAGOTT:

Yeah. Exactly. Found the Grail and instead of making a billion in the dark, started selling it to everyone for cheap. Convincing

it's not a grail at all... and it's not for sale, it's freely available...

it's just an example of a convenient summary of all trends in one window... an example of trend trading

Yes, for the same reason why it is more profitable to buy your own currency from others to sell on your market than to sell your own...

sllawa3:

I'm 100% sure... A DT from Deutsche Bank does not use quotes from its own bank....!!! the same as there is no centralized forex exchange

Every brokerage house uses a mix of several providers of quotes (similar to the ones traded by banks). The quote provider (market maker) in its turn provides quotes by averaging ( data flow reduction) the information from the swift on the trades of several banks.

For the uninitiated: Swift is an interbank information exchange system with a higher capacity of information...

It's difficult to argue with you because you do not even want to read your own posts or do not know how...

A market maker is a broker/dealer firm that undertakes the risk of buying and holding securities of a certain issuer in its accounts for the purpose of selling them. Market makers act in the over-the-counter market as direct participants in transactions. In contrast to the stock market, where this is done by so-called "specialists", market makers maintain liquidity in the OTC market. As a rule, they are involved on both sides of the market, as sellers and buyers.

Where do you see the phrase quotation provider? Market maker - let the DC, undertake to satisfy your order to buy or sell currency at the current price and represent your interests in the market, at the same time these same banks must ensure the current liquidity of currencies, since they have already committed to you when placing the order, and if all market participants will try to hedge their clients internally without placing sell/purchase orders, these banks must have serious currency reserves and know where the currency rate will go, in order not to suffer losses in front of

the trend is a great tool for explaining history. It always will be. The trend is unambiguously defined only afterwards. In real trading over a long period of time, trend trading in the visual sense of the word is impossible.

In fact, this is the best of the best, and you can't give a unified definition of the trend! The colour of TA and ATS, yadren-baton!

you keep confusing forex and DTs. Forex is an interbank market with a minimum lot of millions of dollars. No retail gets there. Forex and DT are linked only with information. DoC takes quotes from there.

No currency goes anywhere. No currency is bought and sold in the dc

I do not want to argue about it.

You keep confusing forex and DTs. Forex is an interbank market with a minimum lot of millions of dollars. You are not dealing with retail. The connection between Forex and DTs is only informational. DoC takes quotes from there.

No currency goes anywhere. No currency is bought and sold in a brokerage house.

Forex is a generalized concept of the market (forex) and we deal only with roulette players ( those who take bets on the "cockroach race") with DTs ...

FAGOTT:

A normal average person does not trade on the forex market. Forex is an inter-bank market with a very large minimum start-up capital.

Right, a normal average person trades foreign exchange futures (quotes are similar to forex) or commodities or something else.
