Oops - Timbo - come on. Lots of examples of how the award was given - and then it turned out that the theses were wrong. You asked Juric for proof - he put it out - then admit that you are wrong in this case - and you're clinging to words again. Don't twist things around.

Where is the proof? He didn't produce any evidence, but you're sure there was some.

There is also a theory of the crisis - the Arabs sold oil to the Americans and invested the proceeds in the U.S. economy - then Binladen shook hands and all the sheikhs started to take their money - a hole in liquidity appeared and the stock market collapsed - i.e. an economic terrorist attack on the West :)

Latynina rules. As many years I read and listen I can't understand how she manages to digest such volume of information, and such closeness to sources on the whole informational spectrum, although in my opinion, economics is not her strongest point.

I started analysing the crisis back in July 2007, and my opinion on the causes has changed several times.

Her analysis is not important at all. What matters are the facts. Even if they are biased. But these are facts, they can easily be verified. And these facts are just screaming.

pyramid. CDOs began to collapse in 2007 and eventually pulled the CDS down with them in 2008. Stiglitz, another Nobel laureate, once criticised this design and warned of its dangers. So who is the smart one and who is the laureate ?

You're getting the tymbus for nothing. To teach a fool is only to spoil him.

So you think that Latynina came up with the PACE resolution and Medvedev didn't fly to Bulgaria?
