Me too, but I didn't show it.
You're a normal working man. You understand the meaning of life. You won't starve to death. Some people have to think about it. Huh?

Aleksey Nikolayev #:

Rather, it is unfair (or even simply ridiculous) to continue to think of chess as an intellectual exercise. The advances of computers make it obvious that this game is a kind of routinecounting skill, like being able to multiply large numbers in your head.

Where does that leave us? Poker?

The last of the deterministic old board games, go, didn't give up for long

That leaves the game of identifying the stupid bird from the smart one.

)))

Uladzimir Izerski #:

There's a game left to determine the silly bird from the clever one.

)))

The bird is always smart as long as it is alive.

Trading) is quite an intellectual game of money)

Trading is an intellectual game.)

well i don't consider trading and betting to be a game in principle

plus intelligence isn't a prerequisite for that.

If the peeps don't know how to play poker profitably, they have no business being on the markets.

I suppose the quest for mathematical proofs remains. I'm not a hundred percent sure that it can be considered a game, but some people get addicted) One may think, for example, fermatists - the torturers of number theory)

Of course, there are tasks for which computers are useful or even necessary - the four-colour problem, or classification of simple finite groups, for example. But this area is narrow and unlikely to expand much.

I think trading is good because it's a direct conversion of intelligence into money. Without intermediaries like clients and bosses.)

I understand Aleksey Nikolayev's concerns
