MT4 doesn't have long to live - page 31

Although I'm not crazy about MT5, I wouldn't compare ninza and matlab with MT5 due to incorrectness. We can only talk about the convenience of the trading API. Yes, the MT5 API has a disadvantage - you can't request a tick history even for an extreme period of time. It's not convenient, but not fatal. Trading API is API all the same, you can connect it to C#, or to Matlab, for that matter.
If you compare mcl to quickq and metastock, they are shining peaks. But as soon as you get a working code in Matlab (not TC, but code), arranged in GUI, you'll immediately realize that MQL is just a side banner, and then you realize that µl is a window where you should pass the money.

MT4 is a GREAT platform! It's a fact and it's history. No one has stood next to it in terms of achievements.

MT5 is a whole world. Its creation is a great merit of developers. Another thing is that it is not without its flaws, of course.

But it is correct to compare Matlab only with other matrix packages.

In general the idea is as simple as a watermelon.

A trading system is taken as a black box: two wipers, Fibo doesn't matter what - black box and that's it. Some input sequence is generated for this box. The result is fixed. Ideas for the input sequence as I understand it are what we have managed to see in the quote: trend, sideways, outlier, SB, etc.

With this approach we will be able to see the full result for our ideas in the TS, not just the one God sent in our sample

I expected something more, some kind of consideration of the TS itself. However, miracles don't happen...

My original idea was that the bars themselves at their generation should take into account the specifics of those regularities the TS is trying to catch. But, of course, not forgetting the patterns of real quotes. I do not have a single idea how to take it into account.

I'm not going to lie, I haven't tried it. I just know it theoretically. There is in EV and heavily developed in matlab, if I remember correctly - Simulink

Prival!!! Where are you? I wanted an interview!

He's wandering around here somewhere.

You're trying to lure him in the wrong way. You need to say something like: "I've got a teak story for the Stone Age." And then Prival will immediately unban and show up.

HeadHunter?

Privaal is a jawa and ninja fan. He probably trades through ninja at Mirus.

Still, Metakvot should be commended. The MT4+MQL4 is a pretty cool product for its time. MT5+MQL5 is even more awesome. They may have bugs, but they will be fixed gradually.

Of course, there are some global drawbacks. Like the lack of access to ticks. This is the main drawback. But this is company policy. It cannot be fixed :-((.

But Metacquotes isn't the only one on the market of trading software. Now, in the near future, a new product by several orders of magnitude greater than all together MTs will be released.

I won't say who yet. The new terminal does not have its own built-in language, but it has already existing languages like C++, C# and probably others. There is a built-in tick multi-currency strategy tester. This is enough to compete in the software market. I forgot to say that the terminal will be free. I think I understood it that way.

I haven't written anything in MQL for over a year now. And I do not regret it.
