MT4 doesn't have long to live - page 83

Renat:

By the way, we will soon release a new build of MT4 with very good features in signals, experts and the network subsystem.

We are completely removing the restriction on simultaneous trading from Expert Advisors. There will be no more "trade thread is busy" messages, the code of Expert Advisors will be simplified and it will be possible to perform up to 8 trades at a time.

It's good that mt4 is getting closer to traders than to brokers, they should also take away some restrictions on their server so they don't get itchy.

Who already wants to test the simultaneous trading from experts, you can connect to demo.metaquotes.net:443 and update to the 455 build.

When working with our demo server MetaQuotes-Demo, the limit is 8 trades at a time, and on all other non-renewed brokerage servers, the limit is 3.

We will be happy to analyse the crashes of the 455 build in order to release the release sooner.

Will error codes of GetLastError() change? What will be returned when trying to execute the 9th trade?

=========

It would be good if MT4 would finally solve the problem with the frequent "insane" server response"NO PRICE". With such answers it is absolutely impossible for multicurrency (arbitrage) Expert Advisors to work, because it is impossible to find out beforehand- that trading on the requested instrument is temporarily banned by the server until the next quote comes.

In this case, one arbitrage deal can be opened, but instead of opening a second position - the server gives (sometimes for hours) endless answers "NO PRICE", - and this during a trading session...

The four will survive as long as there is demand from ordinary traders. The broker does not care what to make money on, and he will not like it if after the failure of the four he will lose traders - fans of the four, who will run to the DC, where the latter is still working, that is, to a competitor. Who will dare to start first?

The four will be gone when the fans die out. And for that to happen.

  • 1. Shut down this resource.
  • 2. Remove all the work on 4 from the internet.
  • 3. Universities and schools should not teach the basics of BASIC, Pascal, C programming, but to learn OOP at once.
  • (You may add your own here).

This is impossible.

My prediction is that F4 will not die in the foreseeable future, it is in demand on the market. But its functionality will evolve towards five, finding a compromise between the requirements of brokerage companies and traders.

PS there is another option, add to the supply of MT5 the option "language of choice" and teach it to understand the fourth mokl.

I join the question.

He's already gone, write to the service desk, it'll be quicker, he still has a company to run.
