I can't remember anymore. I'm just dumbly updating (F5 - it's easier than using the mouse).

Notifications of new posts used to be sent to my email. Now I don't know.

No, it's been disabled. But I'd hang myself with so many emails.

Right now the button can only be used to store interesting topics in your profile.
