The fate of the world's currencies in the wake of the demise of the dollar. - page 61

Maxim Dmitrievsky:

where is the contradiction?)

The world is already moving to electric cars (at least in urban areas), and these guys are still patching buckets :)

Who patching? Where? After 100-200 thousand km all cars start breaking down, both for 0.5 and 10 kms. But the price of repairs are incommensurable. So why do they pay 10 kms each?

compare the price of a Tesla in the usa and russia, it's a tantrum, it costs us 2 million for a new one, we get 6 second-hand ones + the income differential

We just have enough gas here )

When you can see the difference why pay more?

Maxim Dmitrievsky:

compare the price of a Tesla in the usa and russia, it's a tantrum: there, it costs 2 lakh new and 6 lakh for us used cars + the difference in income

What does that tell you? It's just a show-off for those who have nowhere to spend their money.

By the way, you can build an electric car for much less money in a garage. you need high-current batteries such as those used in the Vipes (the Tesla cars run on such cells).

For example, take a Skoda Superb, throw out the engine, install an electric motor for 220 kW (300 hp), put a pallet on the bottom with acums 18650 and voila! - The electric car is ready for about 2.5 lakh, and such a car will accelerate up to a hundred in 3 seconds.

do not tell me about the crumbling, long ago I had a Niva fell to pieces on the 3rd year completely, now a Japanese 7 years old he, he is simply unkillable millionaire, yes hub. bearings fly periodically. I don't even want to sell it because it is still Japanese, now they assemble them in Russia I don't want to buy it any more.

all these people are good at building electric cars for themselves)) 35k dollars for a cool electric car is a reasonable price in the usa

Maxim Dmitrievsky:

Everybody knows how to build an electric car)). $35k for a cool electric car is a reasonable price in the u.s.

It's just a trolleybus in a pretty wrapper. There's nothing innovative or hi-tech about it. it's just marketing and pretty words. they should learn about it in Russia, yeah.

It is clear that it is a trolleybus, but a Ferrari makes it from a place because it has an electric motor right on the wheels without any extra transmissions. The most technologically advanced thing is the battery. Earlier, they could not make such capacities, which is why they did not produce them, and they probably still cannot do it in Russia.

By the way, these batteries are not eternal and cost a lot... Convert it into the cost of gasoline for their service life...

They have a free replacement service of sorts, and there are petrol stations in some places where they remove the old battery instead of recharging it and plug in another charged one, 5 min.
