Well in the case of Apple tech, it usually only gets more expensive :)

When they released their arm proc, a laptop on it cost the same as the same laptop on intel. But people stopped buying Intel's rusty hardware after that when they felt the difference.
In the last quarter of last year, 50 million Intel-based desktops and laptops were sold, giving them a market share of 78%. Intel chip-based PCs showed a 3 per cent growth compared to the fourth quarter of 2022. AMD-powered PCs had a market share of 13% (8 million units), with shipments down 1% from the fourth quarter of 2022. Apple produced about 6 million PCs with its own processors, down 4% from the fourth quarter of 2022.

What does that have to do with it? Intel doesn't have an arm

Statistics says that people still buy x86 PCs all over the world, i.e. there is no global transition to ARM.

I was talking about Intel hardware in Apple's hardware. There were no ARM processors in other manufacturers' PCs.

There was no transition because there was no technology. So Qualcom is second to Apple now. Let's see what's next, it's been 3 years and they're still lying around.

I was talking about Intel hardware as part of Apple's hardware.

I couldn't follow that line of thought.

There is an idea to move from trees to a simple rectangle search, when splits are not done one by one, but several at a time.

It is possible to take selected quantum splits by my method and check them in pairs (it is in my plans) - those that will improve the probability of the required class and represent in essence a rectangle in duhdimensional space.

I want this!!!!

In 10-15 years this will be sold by the Chinese for $2000 as old boo junk

yes, server stuff is bought up by big sellers and put on ali (chinese can't buy on ali themselves).

You can take selected quantum segments using my method and test them in pairs (this is in my plans) - those that will improve the probability of the desired class and represent essentially a rectangle in duhdimensional space.

I call a rectangle not a two-dimensional figure, but a multidimensional one with dimension equal to the number of features (n-hyperrectangle). It is more convenient for me, so you should understand it as well.

You can also search for a multidimensional figure in the same way, but it is more complicated. However, I find it doubtful to search on all predictors at once - even in theory I can't imagine how it can be.

A pair of features can be connected by the same logic.
