New to forex (6 months) and very new to this thread, just started going over the material here and will prob have to go over it and over it .... until hopefully sinks in.
From what i can gather briefly you use the correlation from the chairmen (crude) and manager (gold) to then take out positions on the 4 majors or crude and gold themselves?
You then use a top down analysis "60trend , 15 MA in situ, 5entries & exits"
As there can be alot of noise on the lower tf's would it be possible for me to just look for entries on the 15 or 1hr charts? Will do some backtesting and see how it goes, just thought i would ask?
Anyways got lots of reading and studying to do so hope to post more when i have a grasp of this setup?

I know I'm not that present these days, but I try to follow up. Anyway, I'm still using this strategy on my side, with fairly good results so far. One thing, I don't know who developped the FX_Visual_Pimp, which version I own is 1.9, but I would love to see some improvments on it, such as :
- the ability to remove TFs we don't use (like I don't care about Monthly, taking it off would spare CPU, I guess)
- and more important, to add/remove pairs, indexes, whatever we'd like to work on. I personaly also use the correlation between DAX and the Yen, for example.
Is that feasable? Could you be so kind as to redirect me to the person in charge, please?I am having one build at the moment for 5m 15m 60m 4hr daily. Just for Gold, Wall Street, Cable and Euro. I think it could be nice and will keep you posted.
Live Room trade of the Day
On a very slow day on the majors and Gold markets here's an absolute peach I located late on in the live room this morning.
I hope a few of you managed to take it.
EURAUD short from 197.80 down to daily S1 and daily 20ema some 200 pips lower.
Won't be posting this afternoon as it's Thanks-Giving in the U.S of A and doubtful a lot else will happen.

Sweet! Please do! But do you think it would be feasable to edit the code to match my Asian/German perversion, if I ever want to? Or say, put all the currencies and indexes as external variables, as Gold and Crude are in the actual 1.9 version?
