From a mathematical point of view the prediction is flawless, but from a performance point of view only 14% probability of the prediction being fulfilled.
So I don't think anything else needs to be argued.

Mathematics is like a meat grinder -- whatever idea you put into it, it will shred it according to all the rules.
My point is that mathematics is a tool, important and useful, but only a tool.
Debugger, you are a common dilettante. You ask for numbers from someone else, but you talk about your 14% success rate without reference to the forecast models, without reference to the models of confidence intervals of these forecasts, without which your reasoning is just child's play. You don't have a trivial methodology for estimating these or those forecasts. If anything, this is taught at the Faculty of Mechanics of Moscow State University, you can enrol.
+10 points. But it's like peas off a wall. And I think he did not understand half of your and my claims.
Without drawdowns (temporary losses), there is no normal consequent profit. TS should manage the total drawdown of all open positions by locking temporarily losing positions while the trend is moving.
If I am thinking correctly about the strategy that paukas is using, then it is a temporary phenomenon, i.e. the drawdown is small in the beginning. then there is no drawdown at all. the strategy is such that from time to time you withdraw as much as needed without disturbing the system, and there is no drawdown at all.
I will wait for his resume on my post...., and I will write his strategy.
Enlighten me, it's been a while since I've been on the forum. Who are they? Did I understand correctly that they are those who work without stops?
Yeah. They don't recognize stops for religious reasons. I'm not gonna put a stop on everything! )

Three types of drawdown should be distinguished:
1. Absolute drawdown (AA) = (Initial Equity (PE) - Minimum Equity (ME))/ME*100%;
2) Relative (current) drawdown (RP) = (maximum equity (ME) - current equity (TE))/TE*100%;
3. maximum drawdown (MP) = (ME - ME)/me*100%.
With a good start, it is possible that PE = mE and only then is AM = 0. Other types of drawdowns cannot be zero by definition!
I think it was talking about OE
And they are right! They will find a TS that works without stops.

I have a manager for 2 lakhs - now he has 20 of his own and 8 investments, the total is 28 lakhs. (it's not rubles) (I actually didn't mean it - there are no stops, but I have a well-known strategy - I will not reveal all the secrets....)
