I agree, the discipline is idiotically named - it is a credit (in our country))) BSEU (Belarusian State University of Economics)

There is a speciality called QF, Quantitative Finance. They do not teach you how to create profitable systems, but they give you a solid foundation. Then it only depends on you whether you will add your brain to the market or not.
