Name me a billionaire, or at least a millionaire, whose name is on everyone's lips, who has made and not lost money on forex through his trading, not through books, stocks or outright speculation. I don't know anyone like that, unfortunately.

Bruce Kovner, George Soros...

Once again: why is this way of trading worse? I wouldn't mind speculating on a billion quid' worth of income just once myself...

The question about billionaires was written to make sure that earning money on forex is not a myth. As for speculating - I'm all for it, and I do it myself if I have time; as for just trading - everything is more for pleasure than for earning.

Is there anything else on the currency market apart from outright speculation?

Read this book... If you don't read it in English, maybe there's a translation... There's an interview with Bruce Kovner... He was once one of the biggest players in the forex market

I agree 100%

There is also overt speculation ))))

By outright speculation I mean action that everyone will know. For example: why will the euro rise or fall on Monday? When the answers begin to coincide en masse, that is speculation, not trading.
