What are you trying to protect? Coding in trading without a money-making trading idea is worthless. Selling automation or semi-automation "tools" without a working idea is cheating customers. All that I have met on the web offering for money does not contain the trading idea at all, or it is just an idiot that does not work. It is from the coders who offer their galleys that people should be protected ;)

Not if the customer gets what he wants and what it says on the "box". A couple of years ago I wrote for my friend two simple scripts, one that sets pending orders at a specified time with specified step, the second one that closes all the orders at certain conditions. To my mind it was bullshit, and when I saw 90% of the profitability of the order a year later, my jaw dropped... I've never seen such stats with a serious deposit until now. And I did not even take money for these scripts, limited myself to a beer and a book as a gift).
It's just the thesis that any "fool" who has bought an Expert Advisor without knowing what and how it works and what the market and trade are, can become rich, is fundamentally wrong. Look at questions that people ask trying to make money trading the markets, what is Ask and Bid, why does the broker overlap and what is it, what is a leverage... You cannot make money easily, you can only lose it.

Bring some of the logic to the server, make temporary user subscriptions, fast communication, block access simultaneously from multiple IPs, account control.
Everything is feasible.
