McCain asks Russia for money for presidential campaign
20.10, 21:44 RIA Novosti

UN, 20 Oct - RIA Novosti, Dmitry Gornostayev. John McCain, a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, has sent a letter to the Russian Permanent Mission to the United Nations asking for financial support for his election campaign. This was stated in a press release issued by the Russian post office on Monday.

"We have received a letter from Senator John McCain asking for a financial contribution to his presidential campaign. In this regard, we would like to reiterate that neither Russian officials, nor the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the UN, nor the Russian government finance political activities in foreign countries," the press release noted.

McCain has previously repeatedly criticised Russia and called for it to be stripped of its G8 membership.
Great! So far, the debts of the Paris club have been paid off, but the internal.... (91-98г)

By the way, do you know what compensation is available if you made a deposit from 09.91 to today... I'm too lazy to go to the savings bank... There are usually long queues.

A trader's biggest dream is to be an insider :-)

Insiders come in two types:

1) those who find out information about certain events, affecting the market;

2) creating events that affect the market.

I prefer the second type, it allows you to be more precise and make more profit.

By the way, who knows what compensations there are if the deposit was made from 09.91 till today... I'm too lazy to go to Sberbank... there are usually long queues.

And if you make a phone call?

After the next cash rebate, a depositor comes to Sberbank with 80 books with a thousand in each. They are shocked, the compensation is enormous.... They fussed back and forth, but paid out - all in accordance with the law. Then they asked who gave them the idea. He told them that it was the third reform in his life and that the state would no longer be able to cheat him.

:))

That's what everyone should do, so that the state would go bust if it tried to cheat the people.

:))

That's what we all need to do to make the state go bust when we try to fuck with the people.

and you already have enough "independence" (read "means"), for complete and unrestricted "territorial independence"? :)

Do you have enough "independence" (read "means"), for a complete and unlimited "territorial independence"? :)

But that's not the point. if every citizen in the state could counter the state's "strength, agility and intelligence", there would be no more problems like crises/defaults/devaluations of any kind.

Question: - let's say TRICHE or BERNAKE knows something, says something,

Do you think he knows in advance where the market will go after his "talk"?

Know what? Quite know what will happen tomorrow?

---------

Of course they do. There is a clear example of that. Trichet himself intentionally created a reflex of "vigilance" in traders, like Pavlov's dog. And the effect is similar: he says the word "vigilance" and raises the rate and so on several times. Then, when the effect is fixed, and if he says the "magic" word, the traders obey the reflex and the market turns in the right direction.

The important people are well aware that their words have an effect on the market, and they know exactly what "the words will do".

If you say inflation is strong, the exchange rate goes up and vice versa: when you say inflation is down, the market reacts by falling. And so do many economic indicators.

Important people are well aware that their words affect the market, and exactly what "the words will do" is also known.

But in times of crisis, they can keep on "hinting for growth" - there won't be any.

until the economic prerequisite matures

The thread was started in the context of the WORLD CRISIS and that we don't have one.

I think it's appeasement - and when our government says REGULARLY we are doing fine!

Meanwhile, on world markets, oil went from 150 to 64 a barrel in 15 days.

I do not tend to trust government analysts (I have life experience in '98, they told us the same thing).

Russia has been and remains a raw materials appendage of the West, whatever way you look at it.

Look at the commodity markets Nickel Aluminum Copper Lead and so on.

it's all going down...

We used to sell oil at 140, tomorrow they will buy it from us for no more than 64

and they can say as much as they want "it does not concern us" ;-)

In manufacturing, a major Russian manufacturer - I do not remember which one, has already cut steel production

because they've stopped buying from abroad in the volumes they used to take

resulting in a 10% job cut

these are the first signs.

for speculators and we are speculators, sharp drops and rises are good and not good.

at such moments, good speculators make fortunes, bad ones go bankrupt.
