Societe Generale currency strategists have updated the weekly FX positioning of their FX Quant Fund, managed by an automated trading system.
Our system remained long the dollar and increased the volume of short positions inthe loonie andyen. The largest "longs" are in the US,UK andAustralian currencies, while the largest "shorts" are in the Canadian, Japanese New Zealand and Taiwanese currencies. Buying dollar/yen and dollar/loonie look the most promising in terms of momentum and yield differential.
Our sentiment indicator remains in the anti-risk zone. The system is very cautious about the carry trade strategy. At the moment 30% and 50% of maximum allowable funds are involved in such trades in G10 and Asian currencies respectively. No long positions in high yielding emerging market currencies are open.Source: Forexpf.Ru -Forex News

What systems are there, the old Idler once told you - watch out for deltas, what is a delta you can read in a dictionary) And then think between whom to monitor it)
On the loonie they're right, but on the yen I WOULDN'T go into it. Ahhh, I didn't realize it at first... they must have bought USDCAD... my condolences.

This link will provide you with this information from Scotiabank :
According tothe latest CFTC data, the net long speculative position in the dollar increased for the fifth consecutive week to $36.1bn in the week to August 4. The biggest changes were seen inthe euro, the yen andthe loonie(note.ProFinance.ru: the net short position in all three currencies increased), the net position inthe franc was bearish again, and thus the dollar was once again bought against all major currencies. EUR remained the best-sold currency, with net speculative shorts rising by $1bn to $15.4bn. Net shorts on JPY also rose (by $1.5bn to $8bn). It should be noted that longs on the Japanese currency remain more or less unchanged, while all changes in the net position are made by the bears, increasing/reducing the volume of short positions. Speculators have so far leftthe Aussie alone, with the net short at $3.7bn. The pace of going short has definitely slowed down, while the pace of purchases was the highest since mid-May last week. Speculators are increasing their short positions in Loonie (increased by $0.5bn to $4.7bn). The volume of short positions in the Canadian currency increased for the eleventh week in a row, while the volume of long positions declined for the second week in a row.Source: Forexpf.Ru -Forex News

Interesting review of the SOT reports. For the USD, it is clear, the secularists have increased the longs, by how much? About the euro and the loonie nonsense, there is no such thing. They left the Audi alone, I don't know, but 12 000 contracts to go long from 0.7250-0.7430 is not a bullshit for them? ))))))))))))))))))))))
That's a load of bollocks. Do you even know where to look at the SOT reports? Maybe we look in different places?)))
Either this week or next week we will meet you at 1.28 on the loonie.
And in the euras too, they're gaining baiji, TR1053...
My son, the euros are dead calm for now)
After the calm comes the storm, Batko...
0941 is coming...
9844 on the chif...
the robot was in doubt all morning, but things are starting to look up)
After the calm comes the storm, Batko...
0941 goes pissing...
9844 on the chaff...
