Close one eye and count the triangles, close the other, open the first, count the triangles.

The number from the first eye + the number from the second eye = more than seven ) the question was about how much is seen, not how much is drawn ))

ZS: it would be nice to have a proof that this is indeed an Einstein problem

 

Given my not 100% vision, I can't say for sure, but note the fact that there are two colours present.

Four triangles I can see, the rest do not have the same sides, and their areas are different, so the remaining ones are not triangles at all ))
