Hey guys (and girls),
I'm looking for an indicator that will show the harmonic patterns in my MT4 platform.
What am I looking for?
- B, C and D must be adjustable (see attachment 1 and 2)
B must be between two adjustable Fibonacci retracement of X-A
C must be betwen two adjustable Fibonacci retracement of A-B
D must be either the adjustable Fibonacci extension of the ABA movement or the adjustable Fibonacci extension of the ABC movement (both must be used), whichever of these two hits price soonest between the 88.6% and 100% (EDIT: These percentages must be editable too) retracement of the XA leg. These levels must be adjustable. I.e. the ABA move will use the 127.2 141.4 and 161.8 extension and the ABC also uses the 127.2, 141.4 and 161.8.
- Entry, stop and two targets indication (see attachment 3 and 4)
The pattern does not repaint (i.e. the entry point will not move as price goes beyond it) (as long as it remains valid)
The whole pattern must be shown (after hitting getting a reversal at point C and we are heading towards D)
The pattern must be in smooth waves (i.e. not too big retracement) (i.e. not too much consolidation after hitting point C)
The pattern must be initiated at a clear bottom or top
The indicator will set an entry, stop and targets on the chart with a little line. The trade will be entered manually.
The stop must be an adjustable Fibonacci extension of the XA move
The two targets must be an adjustable retracement of the XA move
One of the targets must be able to be disabled
If price reverses just before point D and moves beyond B, the pattern is invali
- Other stuff
Previous patterns will remain on the charts
All of the above times five, so I can adjust the settings to my wishes for each pattern. (and the ability to disable drawing them)
All retracements are based on the wicks, not the close.
Each pattern (i.e. purple for bat, blue for gartley etc) must get a different colour, so we don't get confused
The pattern can be no bigger than 100 bars on a timeframe
The pattern can be no smaller than 20 bars on a timeframe
I would like to see all the fibonacci retracements and extensions that are used to create the pattern (and the ability to disable this)
