In fact, this is only necessary for three- and four-legged arbitrageurs. I don't have many of them, only a few dozen, so I have to use the synchronous engine for now.
I know that asynchronous engine does not win in terms of speed, the physics of the process is clear and I also understand why the figures shown by the terminal for asynchronous engine are lower than synchronous ones.
That's why I've decided that I do not want to deal with asynchronous one myself. I'd rather do something more useful for trading. I don't want to order it from someone else, because there is no one who understands all the bugs that happen in real trading, not in tester trading.

Well, how do you tie in? Suppose the arrival of OI lags behind the ticks. Then in OnTick, you need to get the latest, old OM (there is no new OM in MT5 yet) and be happy with it. If the ticks on the contrary lags behind, then speaking generally, it is ales, because then the ticks in MT5 lag behind the entire data stream, which is seen by other market participants. But let's suppose. Then we set the timer in order to receive a new tick value as soon as possible, and the old tick is saved and combined with this OM. All the same, it's bad - there will be a current OM and an old, irrelevant last tick associated with it. Besides, normal timer is less than 16 msec. You won't - preemptive multithreading. You'll get a crooked timer with a rather large gap of several msec, which is hard to understand when it will be called. You won't be able to cram the Expert Advisor with Sleep() in a normal way either. It requires too high a resolution. In any case, you will either have a lagged OM or a tick.
I.e. it is necessary to bind to the ribbon, not to ticks.
16 ms is not a long time for the indicator. A rare user will notice this lag.
So far I understand that OI lags behind the tape and I want to record the change of OI, fixed by the timer, in the last deal of the tape.
