Why do you think all definitions have to be somewhere on Wikipedia or on the surface? You just need to use logic for a minute... If a clause is not a minimum according to you, then what is it anyway? Maybe it doesn't exist? Maybe it's superfluous.

Do you know what the difference is between those who operate with clauses and those who borrow words from others without understanding their essence and thinking that everybody will think that the person using such words possesses some secret knowledge?

That we go to the shop and you go shopping.

We have an unambiguous interpretation. But of you (not personally, but of those who use Americanisms) one might think differently - maybe you are greedy, as an example?

 
So the Russian side will have an article about cucumbers, but the English side will not and attach an article about tomatoes, so there will be people who will think that cucumbers and tomatoes are the same, only there they are red and juicy, and here they are green and long.
