Rashid is just very sensitive to criticism, even if it is valid. And banning is one of his arguments.
And Andrei - I've already said above - may well open his own branch, with his rating, if he's interested, personally I suspect it's an empty hassle, no one really needs it.
Yes, it's unnecessary )) The basic principles I laid out, who is interested - take advantage of.
The only wish to the administration of the website: to add the ability to sort the signals by the average monthly growth and the maximum drawdown in the account - this will greatly facilitate the search.
By the way, thank you for the rating publication, George, many people may find it useful.
Yes, that's unnecessary )) I've laid out the basic principles, those who are interested will take advantage of them.
I have only one wish for the site's administration: add the ability to sort signals by the average monthly growth and the maximum drawdown in the account.
If you do not know how to use the rating, you may find it useful.
So, that's the end of it... And where are all these dissatisfied people who are interested?
It will take two or three days for not even the most qualified programmer! Take AutoIt, write a script, that scrolls through signals, and forms rating values and puts ratings into a table. Next - just run the script every day (or weekly), and post the generated rating, publish it in a branch. Everything!!! Adequate alternative rating - very quickly become very popular.
And - you can see what the result ...
TCa - already not heard. What's the point of changing anything in the administration? Rashid was right.
As for the rating in TS League - I had an idea to publish the quality of the best signals together with my systems. It is possible, I just need to write an analyzer of CSV-file export. But then again - who needs it? What is the point of me doing it?

Yes, Rashid is right - most people do not bother analyzing the signals, but go where the crowds are larger. And, as a rule, the crowds are greater in places where providers conduct aggressive trading with high risks - with meshing, martingale and other "superprofitable" strategies. They get hundreds or even thousands of subscribers, although it is clear to the naked eye that sooner or later losing is inevitable. Sahar has been holding its signals for more than a year among such providers - although it was on the verge of failure at times. But in the end Sahar still sold Euro from 1,13 and was selling with trailing net with short step up to 1,16 until stop-out deals, and then the price went even higher... Now he lost more than 90% of his subscribers - 80 out of a thousand plus left, but is still going strong, as the reviews show :)
As for who needs it, you could take a poll. If there are a few hundred people, you can even implement an alternative analysis of reliable and profitable signals as a commercial project - for example, you can put the analyzer for sale in the Market.
Yes, Rashid is right - most people don't bother to analyse signals, but flock to where there are more people.
Long time ago, even before him, I raised this topic here https://www.mql5.com/ru/forum/167008
The number of subscribers after a certain threshold grows exponentially, which, firstly, violates the competition rights of the other tops on the first page, secondly, is unfair to other signalers, and thirdly, violates the security of subscribers due to the lack of universal diversification.
I'll explain the last of it: the administration fiercely fights for your safety, throwing all sorts of warnings at the signaller for you, refusing to connect if his drawdown is over 30, disabling him from rating and removing from the showcase, if he earns more than 50% a month, cancels the growth if more than 199% per month. And so on and so forth. But at the same time, cent(!) signal for $ 100 great Taras Gonchar - CALM - a blatant averaging and over-surfacer, has 3000 subscribers at the end and then not so fast, but not so long, in short - painfully for the subscribers, merged his account. That is, no warnings and bans did not save millions of dollars in aggregate wallets (at the peak of subscribers' funds amounted to more than 5 000 000 dollars). I created a separate thread with a specific proposal here https://www.mql5.com/ru/forum/167677/page7 to modify the filter parameter for sorting signals - "subscribers", from a numeric value to an indicator value, so that the actual number of subscribers would not be visible, and instead of a number would be a value of fullness, as later applied to the parameter "reliability" - five columns.
I.e, are trying to fight with blatant tinsel ("the drawdown may happen again", "too much profit, padazristic!"), instead of making a concrete weighty change. After all, it was already clear at the time that there was a blatant and obvious crowd effect.
So if you're fighting for safety, fight.
So the crowd problem has been known for a long time.
So the crowd problem has been known for a long time.
it's not a problem, it's a feature.
is not a problem, but a feature.
If you put it on a regular graph, where x is the ranking and y is the degree of disagreement with you, you get a graph of about x=5y
The absence of a negative aspect would be a factor stating the peculiarity as the only attribute present. As it is, this "feature" has detractors, and for them it is a problem)
In other words, they try to fight with blatant tinsel ("the drawdown may happen again", "the profit is too big, it's a pudding!"), instead of making a specific weighty change. After all, it was already clear at the time that there was a clear and obvious crowd effect.
Therefore, if you fight for safety - fight.
So the problem of crowds has been known for a long time.
And I don't see a particular problem here. Clearly, the crowd plays a big role in popularity. Moreover, rating has nothing to do with it at all. I repeat - open a signal with tens of percent profit per month and a maximum drawdown of a few percent - the crowd will gather quickly enough, and you won't care about any ratings - people will flood in droves just because of "word of mouth".
TheXpert is right - it's just a peculiarity.
In addition, I can only repeat - do not like the official rating - create your own. If it will be better than the official - all will be guided by it. How many of you are so brave? Creating a rating - not such a complicated thing, above I pointed out how to do it. Moreover, if I get my hands on it - I will include the top ten signals in my TC league ranking.
But I'm afraid no one needs it all, and, as Rashid rightly said, the main purpose of both this thread and proposals to change the rating is "I want to fool the rating and make a buck off the sheep who will subscribe to my worthless signal".
