No, scared of what we might do after this very quarter :) ...

He's scared for nothing, it'll all work out for the best. In the olden days, we three engineers lived at the collective farm of an ancient grandmother who fed us mainly with cabbage soup made of rotten cabbage. Then we proactively started sawing and chopping firewood, which took up the whole yard. Our grateful grandmother immediately converted us to moonshine and scrambled eggs with bacon, after which we built her a new fence made of humpback logs and repaired the roof.
The fence and the roof are definitely not for Sanek alone; God willing, he can chop firewood :))

We have bought a plot of land near the forest. The forest had already partially developed part of the plot over many years and about 12 acres had to be cut down.

I borrowed a chainsaw and planned to take off with my father-in-law in a week. My mother-in-law said no and summoned my wife's brother from Latvia.

He worked for a long time in Sweden in a logging company, then in Stockholm in a difficult felling company. That's when grandma's pine tree

ready to fall and you can't find any machinery or a place to fell it. Buildings, flowerbeds, flowerbeds, buildings.

In short, my brother first walked this forest, then looked at the sky, then cleared the passages. Then he started.

It was the most beautiful job I had ever seen. Went along the first row, lightly jigging, leaving 3 not deep cuts each.

I don't know why. And somewhere on the 7th, 8th tree with another breeze, a little stronger than the previous ones,

all the trees that had been sawed off to one side. By the evening all was ready. It even turned out to be convenient to walk between the groups of lying trees.

Specialists, they are. And beauty is the sister of expediency.
And if you don't know how, don't have a couple of drinking friends and haven't mastered moonshining, let him pay the dough!

Well, I was right about the 9.6 kilowatt output.

He has some at $950 too, on an electric kilowatt.

I don't think so. The engine's not a big part of the cost. It doesn't make sense to buy one. First of all, we don't know the life span. Let's say 5,000 cubic feet.

So the amortisation per cube is 1.8 quid, plus petrol, plus transportation to the site, plus grp. This is bullshit, because chopped firewood (birch) with delivery to home is cheaper

The machine for chopping firewood should be very low cost, at the level of a quarter and a snack. Any way you slice it, any calculations will come down to a quarter and a snack.

Where's Sanek? He's probably just pissed himself and put it on the firewood. And we're scratching our heads.

And I found him another option, just on its volume. True, too, not cheap.

Felling of firewood from 7 cubic metres, when stacked in bulk. We cut firewood according to the price (incl. VAT):
dry firewood 2800 rubles/cub.m
wet firewood 2400 rubles/cub. m

Rich country Russia, we would have been killed a long time ago for this, no one uses coal here, do they?

I just don't understand the point of so much firewood.... I hope you burn larch, or pine comes in too?
