No islands can be bought from Greece - there are billions of tonnes of oil and gas offshore.
The US and the EU will figure out how to divide such a treasure without any trouble at all.
By the way, although everyone thinks there is no oil there, there is a very funny term - "Greek fire".

I heard they recently sold off their islands on the cheap to supplement the budget and pay their debts. Didn't have time to hustle.
