The fate of the world's currencies in the wake of the demise of the dollar. - page 9

Vizard_:
Here we go... again like a fool... alone... I'll wait for the quid index above 100)))
It's too early to bury the dollar. It can still strengthen with ground operations, or air raids.

Why are you thinking about the end of the dollar? Because there is a reversal pattern on EURUSD? So the Euro is at the bottom, but we do not see the end of Europe. It is the same with the end of the dollar. Why? Science is well developed there, there are natural resources, industry is strong, the rest are farmers and everything is permeated by the entrepreneurial spirit with a long history.

All these dollars, euros, roubles are all water in communicating vessels on the price of goods and there is nothing to idolise them - just an instrument of mutual settlement... the more goods a country has, the stronger the economy and currency... And who produces the goods... not government officials... and which country has the most bureaucracy... and where young people are rushing to - so the conclusion is that it's too early to sing the eulogy... but to produce and sell more before it devalues... and there's no end to this race to the top... he who does not climb up goes down and loses everything - the world of capital, as you know, has no pity...

Сергей Криушин:

That's right, only when everything is "fair". It's a shame that this "water" of
about 8% in '15 was not enough for Russia's economy (sanctions).

And what to do with the debt? It has to be serviced, and it is getting bigger and bigger. And so far there is no downward trend.

goman:
What about the debt? It has to be serviced, and it is getting bigger and bigger. And so far there is no downward trend.
Why do something with it? It has been obvious for a long time that nothing can be done. And do we have to? It's just a baboon they scare children with.

Dmitry Fedoseev:
Why do anything about it? It has long been seen that nothing can be done. And do we need to? It's just a bogeyman to scare children with.

How can you "do nothing"? The fact that the debt burden is increasing suggests that doing nothing is leading to an abyss. Rising debt is the cost of "doing nothing".

There are oil companies in the states today where debt service accounts for 40% (!!!) of revenues. Analysts are predicting a boom in oil industry bankruptcies for summer 2017.

This is not a bursting of the stock market bubble, it is a collapse in the industry economy. What this collapse will entail......

Dad borrowed 3 roubles from Mum, Mum from Granny, and Granny from Dad, so they owe nine roubles.

In the long term (during this year), my advice would be:

1. Transfer current dollar deposits to accounts with another base currency - AUD, SGD for example.

2. Do not make trades in pairs containing USD in the name of the instrument, except for super short trades.

By doing these two points, a trader has nothing to lose, but he/she will be able to protect themselves from unexpected fluctuations of traded instruments and possible sudden depreciation of the deposit.
