RDB & RTL system - page 9

Hello racscave,

What broker do you recommend to me to try with your system?

Which one are you using?

I have my live accounts with 5 different brokers (don't keep all eggs in one basket), but only one supports MT4 and that's fxdd. I use FxPro as a demo mt4 platform.

I don't really want to recommend any brokers; unless you have lot's of cash, they all treat you the same. From a basket of none MT4, I like Dukascopy and FXCM. I've heard good things about FXOpen, MBtrading and interbankfx. There are many choices and I'm not sure what's best suited for RAS. I'm new here, but ask around on forex-tsd forums. I'm sure you get plenty of good answers.

Hi Sean,

Not sure what you're asking.

If you wonder if I'm just clicking the mouse on a demo acc, the answer is no. I'm taking those trades myself on live accounts (see below) with slightly bigger risk compared to RAS traders.

Why bigger risk? Because I know from the past that when Mr. Ben gets appointed the market will shoot up some 200ps taking yen crosses along. Is it certain? No, it's not... but I'm a trader and I get paid for taking a risk. hope this helps.

cheers,

mr ben..

Hi Racscave,

Also..

Mr Ben was appointed in Dec 09 since then yen crosses are down. why would they go back to Dec 09 levels when all they have done is gone down since mr ben re-appoinment?

whats the time frame for these trades based on your risk analysis?

cheers Sean

p.s. im just an investor!

Thanks again

Clone account

Hi Racscave,

Your performance figures look impressive to date and I appreciate your modest and realistic outlook not promising the world and aiming for steady growth. For these reasons I subscribed to your signal - however I have one concern, when I look at the clone account setup by Linuxser which tracks your account's signal to show RAS latency issues etc.. it has not performed well, do you have any idea why this may be?

Kind regards

Leeb

Hi Leeb,

Thank you.

Performance is not super good, but it's ok. Sometimes I'm too early, sometimes too late, but over all performance is acceptable. I started buying eur/jpy too early last night as an example. When price hit 124.80 I was sitting on my hands so I wouldn't buy one more lot on RAS with 50 pips stop. Well I said 3 lots will be max per cross and I have to follow those rules. I had 4 lots open for myself. Maybe in the future I will open a private yahoo or google group for those traders who subscribe to rdb&rtl and give additional options. Just like with that eur/jpy trade. I'd say something along those lines: 'I have bought additional lot as I .... bla, bla, bla.. if your risk profile allows you, you can do the same with 50 pips stop and 100 pips TP...' We'll see.

I was watching eur/chf hit 1.4640 and when I hit buy 1 lot... I got new price windows and price was 60 pips lower. Intervention, I mentioned a week ago or so finally happened but at a different price range I was expecting. Well, you can see we can't control the price, but we can control our risk. In the long run, we should do ok, but again nothing is written in stone... we'll see.

Unfortunately, when it comes to clones by Linuxser and signals being send from RAS servers (not my trade station) to your broker I have no control. Looking at system statistics on RAS it's not bad, but again I understand signal must travel to RAS serves and again to your workstation or broker and this might be a serious issue for someone system, which aim at 5 or 10pips. I don't scalp that much, so in the long run we should be ok.

I'm not sure how clone is set up, but some statistics simply make no sense to me.

e.g this trade below. I still have it running while the clone shows it closed..
