So why do you say that the minimum balance we need is 250usd per pair ? If we observe 50% RDD on 5000 balance it means we'd quickly hit 50% equity protection on 250 or even 2500 balance ? Nope ?thx

I'm already running test on activtrades (1pip=10cents) with a 5000 balance and eu + uy presets files.
As you advice i would be more confident to run on twice balance needed to let room and avoid to hit the 50% equity protection.
What are the profits and DD you observed so far on your tests ?

Nope! You have to understand the lot size vs. account size. The drawdown is always relative to the lot size and account size. On a $5000 account with one pair, the base lot is .02 and the drawdown could get as high as $2500. If the lot were .01, that drawdown would be $1200. If the account were micro, then the lot size would be .2 on one pair but the drawdown would be the same ($2500). If you use micro, you could have $500 and the lot size would be .02 and the drawdown would get to $250 before EP hits.

i just thought this tests as they were run on IBFX were run on mini accounts...that's why i was asking on that point...i didn't notice account type was 1, now i understand...

Yes you did. First of all, Blessing was not designed for the EURUSD m15. Please go to the set file post and see what set files were developed and what pairs they were developed for.

Basically, I started with a 10K account and at 4 nanolots it had a Max draw Down of 7.24%. So if you want to run this with a broker that only trades Microlots (10 cents a pip). Then you would have to increase the Draw Down by 2.5 times which would give you a Max Draw Down of 18.1%. Of course your profits would also be 2.5 times bigger. I have been demo testing for over two months now starting November 3, 2008.

??The problem is with IBFX demo server. It resets Deposit/Withdrawal after so many trades are closed. So even though I started with 10K, it resets every so often. They have opted to do that then to force the reset of many demos running on their server.
The MaxDD of 7.24% happened a couple weeks into it so it does not show up. Plus, I am using my own programmed script to track MaxDD which is WAY more accurate then what Metatrader tells you.
