I wonder if the StepActive / StepPrepare is somehow involved...

I checked my settings; on the Buy side Active= 4, Prepare= 2.

My Sell settings had not been updated, they were 0 / 6.

The Sell trades took, the Long trades did not, however, there was more than enough room between the low of the 30M bar and the buy trigger to accomodate the spread.

I wonder if Waddah Attar should be consulted?

Also on your order that did not execure make sure your EA was set to place the order in that direction.

The other thing i can think as a factor is the direction of the price action. It might have something to do with the "stop" vs. "limit" order logic.

I will continue to watch it and set mine for both buy and sell to make sure it works in both directions.

I has three other currencies that would have produced pips but I set it to one direction only based on the price aciton to Pivot rule.

I will focus more on the logic and less on the win percentage over the next few days.

Also I would adjust your buy activate to equal that of your pip spread beyond the trend line.

example: 4 pip spread = Active= 4, Prepare= 2 to give the broker the spread they need too.

Keep me posted on yoru results.

 

It is set for both long and short, and I've changed the setup to 4/2.

I'll keep you posted if there's any more funny business..

The EA last night had two wins and two miss entries across 5 pairs.

I also modified the active trading range from 5-17GMT to 5-11GMT to reduce the chances of multiple entries due to trend line criss cross into the US session.

I am not sure I will track success of this EA until it runs several weeks and we try and work out as many of the kinks as possible.

This is our progress so far. Some of these were stoped manually so they didn't float into the next day.

Bug:

Some of the entries are not activating as the price aciton moves from active to prepare back to active.

Testing Solution: I have modified the Limit orders to mirror the Stop orders configuration. This issue might have to do with where price action is in relation to the pending order entry. Today we would have had 4 wins instead of 2 wins and 2 misses because of this issue.

it's Important to put EA thread together here with daily20pip system so people can know the basic how EA work through the main post

Perhaps we should take another approach to try to identify the problem.

We have two components to this system, the indicator and the EA.

To help isolate the problem maybe the indicator should temporarily be put aside and replaced with simple manually drawn trendlines.

If the problems stop the cause would likely be related to the SDX Pivots, if not then the EA could be faulty.

I may try this over the weekend.

 

Hi Proverb, I'm now studying way to Improve this daily20pip system, named Daily20pip Join force system, maybe you should look at it here and maybe it can be programed into the EA for max profit,

This Daily20pip Join Force system using All existing Daily20pip system rules combining with Nervous (from my forum member who gave me this Idea) Staking rules bellow

-if- day 1 1 lot s/l -30pips

-then- day 2 2 lots t/p +40 or s/l -60pips

-and- day3 win draw or lose back to 1 lot
