Short introduction:
My name is Jan-Bart Bergers, fund manager and lead developer at our company. My professional journey began as a software engineer at Euronext Derivatives Market in Amsterdam. Due to company policy, trading was prohibited for Euronext employees, but following my departure, I swiftly transitioned to trading independently and later for clients.
A few years back, I ventured into automating my trading strategies, initially with MT4 and now with MT5. My background in software development, with proficiency in C#, C++, and Python, facilitated this transition.
In terms of trading style, I adopt a professional and conservative approach, prioritizing stable and above-average returns over volatility. My focus is on optimizing the Sharpe ratio and minimizing drawdowns. Currently, all our trading is automated, and I am keen on sharing our expertise and software with fellow traders. Influential figures in system development like Robert Carver and Martyn Tinsley have been significant inspirations to me.
