Lazy Scalper

This is a short-term scalping Expert Advisor making a small number of trades. The EA follows the price using BuyStop and SellStop orders at a fixed distance and catching fast movements of currency pair quotes. It has a minimum number of adjustable parameters.


The robot is ideal for a trader as an addition to a manual strategy or in conjunction with another EA. The EA distinguishes its trades by a magic number.

Pending orders, like market ones, are not left for weekends and are closed 10 minutes before the end of trading on Friday.

With the expansion of the spread, the EA removes non-triggered pending orders and works in close-only mode.

Only one market order at a time can be opened on a single currency pair.

VPS server is recommended. The recommended minimum deposit is 100 units of the base currency per 0.01 lot.

The EA is to be used on highly liquid currency pairs with a small spread/commission (for example, EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, USDJPY, USDCHF, USDCAD, NZDUSD, XAUUSD).

Timeframe does not matter.

Important! The EA is designed for long-term use, therefore, do not expect immediate results. There can be unprofitable days, weeks and even months. The number of trades mainly depends on the market volatility.


Parameters

  • LotsFor1000 - lot size per 1000 units of base currency.
  • DistanceOrders - distance to pending orders, in pips;
  • TimerSecond - timer in seconds, after which pending orders are modified at new prices;
  • MaximumSpread - maximum allowed spread for the EA's work, -1 - not used;
  • TrailingStopLoss - trailing stop loss in pips follows the price at a given distance;
  • MagicNumber - magic number;
  • OrdersComment - comment to orders.
