Hello Programmers,
I am in the process of creating instructions for a new EA that appears to be (in my opinion) a little complex. It has to deal with possibly 8 different indicators with many different options for each indicator. It also has to do with price action and actual price action candle shapes (and finding multiple candle shapes in previous periods in order to create certain statistics for trading). It also has to deal with correlation, hedge trading, lot manipulation, triangulation and multiple currencies being traded in unison. The program will also have "shadow trades" and organize statistics based on previous profits and losses. Also, I may have 20 or so trading rules for all the previous mentioned. So all of the 8 different indicators with all the many different options, as well as hedging, correlation, multiple currency trading, etc., will all have to be repeated 20 or so times because each of those options will be fore one specific trading rule.
I am currently making the blueprints for the EA clearer so that it will be easy to understand and program directly.
Before I post my job, I am wondering two different things:
1) Is there a ball park of how much something like this would cost to build? I just need some type of ball park to start budgeting correctly and to possibly change the EA. For instance, if the ball park is lower than what I expected, then I may want to add other features (such as displaying different words, exporting certain graphs, other different alerts and indicators, etc). However, if the ball park is more than I expected, I may take away some of the more complex items in the instructions.
2) For the more complex EAs, would it be better to have it programmed on something like C++, etc., and have it bridged over to MT5? With the many instructions and rules, the amount of coded lines may be enormous and I'm thinking the EA might not run efficiently with the mql5 commands. However, if it would work just as well as any other programming language, then i would be fine.
Thanks
