Add an alert to a trend based indicator and modify it slightly.

This is a public trend indicator called "Trade What You See".

I want to add an alert at current bar open, IF CONDITION is the same as the PREVIOUS candle close, to trigger an alert.

(Because otherwise the condition can change during one candle period, it will work on previous candle close).

(Should have a bar lookback input - default will be 1).

For blue it will be LONG, and for red CLOSE LONG.

It should alert in a way that an EA could read the alert (EA will be a separate task in the future).

Also, you can clarify how this indicator works and what data it uses to confirm the condition.

I only see a SSP and KMAX option in the source code but don't understand the formula/calculation or what it means exactly.

(As a coder you can clarify that part).

PS : When running, the indicator sometimes repaints previous bars that have already closed, I want to stop that (to avoid overfitting in backtest). (It seems to have some lookback period it uses).
