Hi ! Mr.Rosh

If a MT4 terminal gets data from two resouces,

May have some wrong reports were found

I mean that the back testing and live testing reports may are differences

One report missed some signals we can found from another

This happened because the user download MT4 terminal from a broker

and got the long history data from MetaQuotes server.

This make the users confusion

So get the DATA only from one resoure is very important

To make the thinds simple

Mr. Rosh : Where can I get MT4 terminal only use the data from MetaQuotes server ?

I have Download the Client Terminal from https://www.metatrader4.com/en/download/

and installed it on my PC

I found this Client Terminal is connecting to Alpari

After add the address: demo.metaquotes.net:443

I can open demo account on MetaQuotes server

and Download the history DATA from MetaQuotes server


Mr. Rosh,just confirm one thing for me:

If I use this demo account to do both Back testing and Forward testing with one same EA

The both results are the same ? Some DATA from Alpari may influence the results ?

I mean the same open signal in same time on both Back testing and Forward testing ?

If you are connected to MetaQuotes-Demo server and you downloaded data from History Center (via terminal from MetaQuotes site) the signals of back testing and signals from demo account should be same.
The data from different servers are stored in different folders.
