Использование встроенного в МТ4 индикатора автоматически будет обозначать, что за прогнозную цену Вы выбираете мувинг. Можно выбрать что либо другое. Сам же алгоритм расчета СКО верный: корень квадратный из суммы квадратов, деленной на кол-во степеней свободы.

Приведём формулу Тейлора:
Рассмотрим производные фукции параболы f(x)=Ax^2+B
f'(x)=2Ax,
f''(x)=2A,
f'''(x)=0, все производные от третьей и выше обращаются в 0.
Тогда согласно формуле Тейлора получается, что у нас ряд будет состоять только из трёх первых слагаемых. При этом разложение функции f(x)=Ax^2+B в ряд Тейлора будет точным (то есть последнее слагаемое для ошибки разложения обращается в ноль). Далее нам нужно оценить качество аппроксимации ценового ряда оптимальной параболой. То есть для нас главным требованием является то, чтобы ряд ошибок аппроксимации был сходящимся (то есть сумма ошибок сходилась к конечному числу). А это мы можем определить просто сравнивая расчитанную ошибку аппроксимации с третьим членом разложения. Я прав или нет? То есть мы при выборе параболы и самой выборки пользуемся тем критерием, что СКО ошибок аппроксимации не должна превышать значение третьего члена ряда, для выборки значений, лежащих на интервале от a до x? Вы руководствуетесь таким же принципом в своей стратегии или нет?
Кстати в этом получается некоторое несоответствие. Мы оптимизируем параболу, используя свойство потенциальности цены (через перпендикудяры к параболе), а оцениваем ошибки аппроксимации обычным способом.
Что здесь не так? Как привести в соответсвие поиск оптимальной параболы и оценку ошибки аппроксимации?

Значит Вы наверное поступаете следующим образом.
1 шаг. Берём выборку
2 шаг. Аппроксимируем её каналом линейной регрессии
3 шаг. Находим ошибки аппроксимации
4 шаг. Анализируем график ошибок. Получаем предположение что порядок аппроксимирующей функции должен быть выше, или данная выборка вообще не может быть аппроксимирована какой-либо непрерывной функцией, если ряд ошибок расходится или имеет какие-то для начала (пока не до конца понятен алгоритм автоматизации расчёта) видимые глазом сильные отклонения, вываливающиеся за допустимый доверительный интервал.
5 шаг. Повторяем шаги 1-4 для аппроксимации параболой (или ещё чем-нибудь)
6 шаг. Оцениваем ошибки, если ошибки превышают разумный предел, то просто откидываем данную выборку. Если график ошибок имеет какую-то разумную структуру, то запоминаем в какой-нибудь массив информацию о выборке, способе аппроксимации и дополнительную информацию об аппроксимирующих функциях.
7 шаг. Далее многократно перебрав всевозможные выборки и поискав оптимальные варианты аппроксимирующих функций для каждой из выборок, останавливаемся на тех выборках, которые удовлетворяют нашим требованиям экстремальным образом. Также естественно желательно использовать рекомендованный Вами метод построения аппроксимирующих функций не на всей выборке, а только на 2/3, оставив последнюю треть для тестирования результатов аппроксимации (это очень ценное предложение!).
8 шаг. Рисуем на графике цены экстремальные аппроксимации с продолжением в будущее. Естественно что для каждой аппроксимации строится доверительный интервал.
9 шаг. Таким образом видим где границы интервалов пересекаются. Определяем примерные сроки.
10 шаг. Во время подхода цены к разворотным зонам расчитываем вероятность разворота тренда используя интегральный метод оценки ошибок. Наверное необходимо будет усреднить оценки разворота по всем каналам аппроксимации. Для канала линейной регресии также нужно будет считать и коэффициент Хёрста, чтобы иметь его в качестве дополнительного параметра. Также неплохо посматривать и на уровни Мюррея. Таким образом мы имеем высокую вероятность принять решение об установке оложенных ордеров и определение стопов с минимальным риском.
Конечно же советник, который всё это будет вычислять будет очень обширным (Вы говорили, что он содержит 6000 строк)! И пока что ещё не всё ясно в плане автоматического принятия решения по каждой из выборок. Ну я думаю, что нужно просто начать пробовать программировать этот алгоритм, а потом по мере экспериментов можно будет понять что-то такое, что сейчас понять сложно даже на теоретическом уровне, но что во время экспериментов прояснится само собою. И действительно время расчётов будет достаточно значительным. Вы говорили, что первые варианты к Вас работали по 30-40 минут на слабой машине. Ну значит на П4 2,4 ГГц нужно примерно ожидать расчёт минут на 10 минут.
На тему методов аппроксимации нашёл следующее интересное пособие.
ЗЫ Поскольку сама парабола Вам не нужна, то сразу можно аппроксимировать производные. Коэффициент регрессии - это то, что нужно (оттуда и ряд Тейлора ;) ). Тогда Вам будет все равно какая форма траектории - главное верно оценить доверительный интервал. Смотрите внимательно литературу, что я рекомендовал -там вполне достаточно информации.
