After a few weeks it is quite stable. Only some losses as I have used a higher lot and that caused a drawdown which got stopped with my drawdown protector. So that was my own mistake. Works fine during news events so you can just keep it running.

Useless EA with frequent SL hits, not good for small accounts, requested developers for a refund but he humbly refused. Dont go behind backtest results. XAUUSD can never be tamed by any Robot. Always trade with your own money management. No algo in this world can help you

Sorry, but this EA lately only is producing losses with both strategies... Only use it with caution and only with minimal lot sizes...

Update 20 May: No improvement, I disabled strategy 2, but strategy 1 managed to secure further losses... :-(

Update 27 June: The whole last month the same picture, a few small wins, but these were wiped out tenfold by the losses. Finally stopped using this EA alltogether, unfortunately, there is no money back guarantee here :-( I am also VERY surprised that the author does not react at all to these desastrous result of this EA (new optimizations, safer set files, rework the strategy etc.)...

The EA worked fine for 2 months. There was a gold sell-off on Friday the 12.04.2024 where strategy 2 of the robot couldn't handle it, and it created a big loss on the account (from +18% in 2 months to -15% in a couple of hours). Please add some additional protection, which would stop trading after 3 or 4 consecutive losses in a day. Don't buy the version 1.9 of the bot until they will publish a new version, which will add additional protection methods!

After a few weeks it is quite stable. Only some losses as I have used a higher lot and that caused a drawdown which got stopped with my drawdown protector. So that was my own mistake. Works fine during news events so you can just keep it running.

I purchased this EA as it has good review from Lisa Forex and Petko. I have only tested it using the demo and the author provided me recommended settings for both prop firm and personal account so I could not wait to test it.

There is a problem with the MT5 version. The MT4 signal trading results provided by the seller are inconsistent. The seller and I also trade with IC. It had a large number of profitable trade in April, but I did not.

So far the bot looks good in backtesting. Hopefully will be the same forward testing. Easy to install as it uses default setting.

The backtests look realistic, which suggests that this is a real long-term EA. I was interested in it because of the reviews of PETKO, which seems solid in its reviews. I will run it on a real account for 3 months with a small balance.

Looks promising. Robust back testing. Not martingale or grid. Ran live demo for one week, 6 trades 5 wins 0.75% up.

New updated version with drawdown protection functions. In the new updated version (v1.94) we’ve integrated variety of protections as follows:

1. Max daily loss (currency)
2. Max daily drawdown %
3. Min Equity (currency)
4. Max Equity drawdown %
5. Max Equity (currency)
6. Loss pause (hours)

The values of the protections can be edited in the EA inputs and also in the new Protection panel shown on the chart.
The default values (0.00) mean that the respective protection is not active.
Some traders need such protections in “Prop Firm” challenges.
We will refrain from recommending specific values. However Max daily drawdown %=4-6 shows reasonable results decreasing the drawdown and increasing the Recovery Factor in the last several months.
We are obliged to inform you, that using such protections could decrease the overall profit in long-term.
Each trader must decide for himself whether to use these protections and at what values.

1. I have added a Time Management System in this version. Thanks to the Time Management System you can configure the EA to trade only on the best hours. It is not necessary to use the Time Management System - it is developed by request of my users. Even without the Time Management System Forex Gold Investor is profitable.
2. I have removed the parameter Order_Filling_Fok. The EA will automatically detect the best supported filling mode and use it while placing orders.
