How to backtest:
By default, the minimum lot size is set to 0.01 because it’s important for each user to choose a lot size that suits them personally. Many EAs out there are programmed to produce large numbers right from the first test, which is fine, but everyone has a different comfort level. To change this, just head over to "Lot Size Settings" and use the drop-down menu next to "Lot Size calculations." There are plenty of options to choose from. ChatGPT can’t operate during a backtest for any EA, not just Mean Machine G P T. API calls can only occur in a live environment. During testing, you'll only see the mean reversion conditions and the neural network in action. Once you purchase, you’ll also be able to download the necessary news data from your MT5 terminal, allowing you to backtest the news events as well.
ChatGPT Integration: Beyond the Hype
**ChatGPT** is a term thrown around a lot these days, but not always for the right reasons. Some EAs hype it up without delivering any real value. - This EA doesn’t trade every day—it only trades when the conditions are right. Expect quiet days when volatility is low or major news events are dominating the market.
- Don’t forget to set up the necessary URLs for **Time, ChatGPT, and News** in MT5’s web request settings. These are required for the EA to function properly. These are located at the very top of the EA inputs menu. Just copy and paste them into MT5.
