FT Gold Robot MT4

I purchased this EA in mid-June but only started using a demo account to test it seriously in mid-July. Based on my experience so far, I can conclude that this EA's performance is quite inconsistent. It tends to generate small, steady profits but when it loses, the losses can be significant enough to wipe out those gains and even push the account into negative territory. This pattern of small profits followed by large losses has been a recurring cycle. Before buying this EA, I had tested it using a backtest, and the results were incredibly promising. However, after nearly two months of real-world trading, I'm very disappointed. I would love to get a refund, but I know that's unlikely. (Incidentally, the seller used to demonstrate this EA on their own account a few months ago, but the results were so poor that they had to delete the account and start a new one. However, even that account has been taken down, presumably due to unsatisfactory performance.) Another reason I bought this EA was because it came with a free XQ Indicator for MetaTrader 4, which is normally worth $199 (now discounted to $139). Unfortunately, this indicator has proven to be completely useless. Luckily, I got it for free, but I wouldn't even accept it now. It's a waste of time. I used it for almost a month before giving up. I anticipate that the seller may try to defend their product after reading this review, but I would like to point out that their own live accounts, which were used to showcase this EA, have also performed poorly, forcing them to close at least two of them. (These accounts are no longer publicly accessible.) In conclusion, I strongly advise the seller to stop selling this EA and to thoroughly test it themselves for at least six months before offering it to others. The $499 I paid for it was a waste of both time and money. This EA is simply not as effective as the much cheaper ones I've used. Note: In addition to discontinuing the sale of this EA, the seller should also stop promoting the XQ Indicator for MetaTrader 4. It's a completely useless tool that wastes valuable time. I regret the three months I've spent using these products. I just want my money back.

Updated review after the seller's response:

The seller's response only further confirmed that they are not a good seller. For the first month, I strictly followed their recommended settings 100%. During that time, they released minor updates, such as news filtering. However, the results were as I've described in my previous review.

This will be my final review. For those who haven't purchased yet and have read this far, please don't buy based solely on backtest results. This EA's backtest performance and real-world performance differ significantly. If you do purchase and join their Telegram group, you'll undoubtedly receive advice to try the demo first. You should do this, and you'll probably regret not having done so before buying.

To the EA owner, I'll say, "You're not a good person, and you know you're lying." I wish good luck to those who continue using this EA, but for me, it was completely ineffective. I wasted a lot of time and money.

This EA makes only a lot of losses (DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY) on it.. it’s only working once a day and got a lot of losses.!!

Excited to use the EA and the support is great. Developer is promising great updates in the near future. Looking forward to this EA to be profitable and stable with excellent updates.

Version 5.1 was given good profit and low drawdown. Version 5.4 is giving huge drawdown. Can you please check the code?

I would say in general it is a good robot after testing it couple days on demo account. Very easy to use and great support. Looking forward to use it on my live account.
