My goal was to deliver the best, most robust, long-term expert advisor on the market. Many inputs and logic have been deeply tested and considered.

What is the most important goal of an expert advisor? Many would say it is to provide long-term income. This makes sense, yet 99% of expert advisors are designed to achieve the best possible backtest results and showcase short-term gains.

I opted for an honest approach in creating an expert advisor, with an honest backtest. The results are quite impressive—perhaps not the best backtest in the world but possibly one of the best REAL backtests? My signal has shown almost identical results to those in the tests, which is what truly matters.

The strategy I employ is designed for trading on XAU/USD or GOLD, as it is commonly known. I chose gold because it is a commodity that is relatively stable and has good liquidity.

GoldenTron features:

  • NO martingale
  • NO grid
  • NO news filter
  • NO time filter

Indeed, it includes no news filter or time filtering. I believe that if an expert depends on such filters, it is bound to fail sooner or later.

GoldenTron always uses a predefined STOP LOSS and employs BUY/SELL STOP ORDERS to scalp the market. It is important to note that I did not over-optimize my indicator parameters. Many settings worked well, which makes me confident in its stability.

It is important to use a good broker for a scalper like GoldenTron, I did a lot of research and recommend these brokers for GoldenTron, please choose the low spread account when you make a new account:

Recommended settings:

  • The default settings are recommended, but you can decrease the max risk percentage if you prefer less risk.
  • It is recommended to use it on an XAU/USD 1H chart, but you can choose any timeframe. GoldenTron uses its own timeframe, so it doesn't really matter.
  • Minimum account balance: 100 usd

Parameters:

  • Max risk % (maximum 1 sell and 1 buy order is open) -> This is used to calculate the auto lot size for each order.
  • Use Equity instead of Balance for the Max risk % calculation -> This can be useful for users that have multiple expert advisors or have manual positions.
  • Fixed lot size (overrides Max risk % when > 0) -> This is used to set the fixed lot size, be aware this will set the auto lotsize function off when there is a value greater then 0 filled in.
  • Take profit in points -> this is used to set the take profit for each order.
  • Trailing stop loss in points -> This is the distance for the trailing, default it is set to 40 points, so on every point in profit it will modify the stop loss and set it 40 points away from the current price.
  • Trailing stop loss trigger in points -> This is the distance when the trailing gets activated, the default it is 20 points. So when the current position goes 20 points in profit, it will then activate the trailing stop loss.
  • Adjust Trailing stop loss trigger when the swap is negative -> This is used when a position is open overnight and the broker adds a negative swap, this negative swap will be added to the trailing stop loss trigger so that the position will close with the same profit/loss against a position without a negative swap. Recommended to set this to true when your broker use Swap type In points.
  • Magic number -> this is used to set the magic number, it can be used when you have multiple EA's running and want to be sure each EA can determine the orders and positions via the unique magic number.
  • Order comment -> this is used to set the order comment for each order, so you can see easily which orders are from GoldenTron.
  • Chart Panel visible -> this is used to activate or deactivate the chart panel.

    I tried GoldenTron and after some initial small profits, it wiped out 60% of my balance with just two bad trades. This EA is extremely risky and unreliable. I can’t see any way it achieved the results shown in backtests. I do not recommend it to anyone. Save your money and find a better alternative.

    Well, after running this EA on a demo for almost a month account I had now 2 occasions where there was a huge DD resulting in burning even more then gained. This EA did not win my trust and won't use it on a real account. I would advise to stay away from this EA.

    Well, I have seen enough now after 2 months of use, to know that I will be removing this EA from my trading accounts. With respect to Peter, the EA seems to be reliable at least. However, the strategy itself is just dangerous. 50% risk stop loss hit again this morning, resulting in huge loss of funds. Due to the way this EA works, it is required to risk a large amount of capital to make any meaningful gains... and as such, the inevitable big loss will occur, wiping out all previous small profits. As a pro trader with 8 years experience trading FX, my recommendation would be to find a manual strategy that works for you and stick to that. Putting one's faith in a cheap EA and hoping for the best is not really a viable strategy. Back tests have not really reflected live trading environment. Dangerous EA. Recommend avoiding, unless you have money to burn.

    I bought Golden Tron EA based on the results obtained in backtests carried out on a Metatrader demo account. When I ran backtests on a FxPro account I got much lower results.I have been running Golden Tron on the real account for three weeks now and, as I saw in the backtests, the profits are very small when compared to a possible loss in which the stop loss is reached without the trailing stop. When the stop loss is reached without the trailing stop, you lose the percentage defined in "Max risk %". In my case I am using "Max risk %" of 50. If I set a lower risk, the profits will be even smaller. This means that account recovery can be difficult, regardless of the risk you decide to take. Hope this helps.

    Hello, I don't really recommend FxPro for live trading because they don't have a stops level 0, which most brokers have and also the recommended brokers I put on the list on the product page description. The reason this matters is because otherwise it can't utilize the trailing stop logic properly without stops level 0. I hope this helps, for any other questions you can DM me. Kind regards, Peter

    The bot has very far stop loss and its default setting is very risky. It can cause margin call or very high DD.

    Wrong response from the seller. I never set the risk to 100%. I'm only testing the bot at 50% as default and the DD was very high. The point is this bot has low R:R which means the risk is much higher than small profits.

    There is maximum 1 buy or 1 sell open, which means the value you set in the Max risk % is the max drawdown you can expect, that's it. If you set the Max risk to 100%, what do you expect? Then it can blow up of course in worst case. I understand for some people the default setting of 50% is to aggressive, it is not recommend for everyone. But everyone can set it like they like it.     I have had GoldenTron since last December. Performance is very very good and stable. I tried and checked about 50 different EA's, ended up buying three. Still the other two was a mistake. One where the author and the EA just disappeared after a couple of losses. The other ones was nothing near testing when going live on a demo account. This EA is as far as I can find outperforming the most of them if not all. Astounding job from Peter and he is always available and helpful. In short this is the only EA. that's still affordable, I will trust with a live account !
