An existing EA have to be validated against the original rules and after that modified in order to adapt some tweaks.
All in all, I think that the validation process should not be complicated, nor time demanding. In order to validate that the EA is fully following the rules, must be checked against a manually tested (orders executed manually vs orders executed by the EA). Will provide the manual verification
After that, some tweaks have to be made, some of them are easy (just a change in parameters), but others require a rewrite of a part of the code.
Again, after that must be validated versus a manual test.
