Hope your week has been coming along well for you :)
I currently run my own MT4 EA on 2 UK Forex Brokers on MT4 that are based on MT4 London Server Time (GMT +1) on 4 Hour Candlestick Charts.
The EA is simple and uses 2 Indicators only - RSI and Moving Averages.
Background Information:
I am moving to new Australian and European ECN Brokers that have their MT4 Server Time based on New York (GMT +3).
I am unable to run my EAs profitably for this new brokers as the 4 Hour Charts are based on the MT4 Server Time of New York (GMT +3).
My EA is profitable only based on London Time (GMT +0/+1 based on Daylight Savings Time), and based on my new Australian and European broker's 4 hour charts, profitability drops so I have to re-base those charts back to London Time 4 Hour Charts.
Hence, I would need to do some adjustments in Meta Trader 4 so that I can use my EAs on London Server Time 4 Hour Charts using my new brokers.
Requirements:
Based on brief consultations with my old programmer who is currently inactive, he mentions that he believes there are 2 methods to solve this:
1) Offline Chart - To Re-Draw the NY Server Time Charts back into London Time 4 Hour Charts using Offline Charts, and run my EA on this Offline Chart
2) Live Chart - To Re-Draw the London Time 4 Hour Charts ON TOP of the NY Server Time 4 Hour Charts as an Indicator (Similar to how a Heiken Ashi Indicator is drawn OVER a live chart), and then to create a new EA with exactly the same logic but based on the new London Time 4 Hour Charts.
Essential Considerations:
- I host the EAs on MT4 VPS, which does not support .dll so it must still be able to work being hosted in MT4 VPS
- Reliability: The charts must not freeze/hang, which will leave trades open causing dangerous hanging trades
- Execution Speed: The charts should be refreshed quickest possible (such as tick-by-tick or in milliseconds, rather than refreshed every 1 second) so that the trades are opened and closed closest as possible to the live tick-by-tick prices
- I am open to any other better possible solutions, if they are able to meet the above 3 criterias
