Spécifications

Chart with 2 oscillators and an algorithm that generates open/close buy signals.

An experienced developer is required to produce the MQL4 code for:
#1: an indicator chart showing a generic pair of oscillators; and

#2: an algorithm that opens (and subsequently closes) a long position, when the price moves within the range defined by a manually drawn price channel in one timeframe (eg. Daily chart) and the values of two oscillators meet specified criteria in another timeframe (eg. 4H chart).

The syntax for the code should include relatively detailed comments to guide future editing by someone (ie. me!) who studied basic programming over 20 years ago but is an MQL novice.

For ease of verification, the EA can be built using the following basic pair of oscillators:
- Oscillator1 = (price - MA)
- Oscillator2 = moving average of (Oscillator1)

A detailed specification has been prepared for the developer assigned. I am open to suggestions from this person for producing the same (or a better) end result more elegantly, or to avoid problems I may not have forseen as an MQL novice. However, I must approve changes to the spec in advance.

Hello, I am looking to develop an alert system that measures a ratio of Open to Close Range (ideally I can choose between OHLC) of a candle (number of pips) versus Volume traded in same time period. I have created a Timeframe Panel indicator in mql5. The indicator scans for all open charts on the platform and it creates a panel that contains all the open symbols and next to it it contains all the timeframes for each symbol.
