MQL5 Alert System for Custom Indicator and Price Action Patterns

Objective:
To develop an alert system in MQL5 that notifies the user based on signals generated by a custom indicator and identified price action patterns.

Requirements:

1. Integration of Custom Indicator:

   • Integrate my existing custom indicator into the MQL5 script. The indicator must be able to generate buy and sell signals based on the defined logic.
   • Ensure that the indicator can be adjusted (e.g. through input parameters) to allow for flexibility in its settings.

2. Price Action Patterns:

   • Identify and define the specific price action patterns that should trigger alerts (e.g. pin bars, engulfing patterns, etc.).
   • The script should monitor the price action closely and combine this with the indicator's signals for comprehensive alert generation.

3. Alert System:

   • Create an alert system that will notify the user through:
     • Push notifications to mobile devices.
     • Email alerts.
     • Sound alerts directly through the MetaTrader platform.
   • Alerts should be triggered only when both the indicator signals and price action patterns align.

4. User Customization:

   • Provide options for the user to enable/disable specific alerts or set threshold parameters for notifications.
   • Include an easy-to-use interface within the Expert Advisor (EA) to manage alert settings.

5. Testing and Optimization:

   • Conduct thorough testing of the alert system to ensure reliability and accuracy.
   • Optimize the performance to ensure it runs smoothly without causing any lag on the trading terminal.

6. Documentation:

   • Provide clear documentation on how to install and configure the alert system.
   • Include a brief description of how the indicator works and how the alert parameters can be adjusted.
