I have an EA grid that have to be modified, it is trading on hedge account only.
General condition you can take in work right now and finish job in one - two hours, task is easy.
1. EA has a problems with request sending to the server for order open/close if it can't do it it send massive amount of requests to the trading servers that overload terminal and in some point get to account block from the broker. - should be fixed by putting delay, once a second and if not possible to open/close order after 10 attempts, sleep all operations for a minute than start again instead of trying send requests every ms.
2. EA info block on the chart updating on every tick and overloading terminal and EA on high volatility - should be fixed by putting delay to update info once every 9 second but not every tick.
3. If the market close but there are some position EA spam in journal - trying to close/open position every ms overloading terminal and tester - should be fixed by putting delay on all operations if market is closed for 10 minutes right after the first attempt it got this error instead trying to do it every ms.
4. Fix info box on chart from EA so it is not covered by "One click Trading button" box by adding extra margin from top and move operational button "soft exit" more to the right, so it is not covering main EA text.
5. Fix the issue with spread count on XAUUSD, EA incorrectly count points for this instrument and possibly for some others on price 1992.50 / 1992.70 where the spread is 20 points that is 2 pips, ea count it like 20 pips, the same for TP, Pips to Break Even count
6. Add one extra option for the Strategy tester only, variable: Test Start Time, value: 2011.10.03 00:00 - if empty doesn't do anything/change anything if not than EA start trading on strategy tester exactly from that DateTime. So if i setup date for the test in strategy tester from 2015.01.01 to 2024.02.15 and i have set up Test Start Time: 2020.01.01 00:00 it means EA will start to trade since that date other date will be no trades.
