I need an Expert Advisor that will recognize a candle stick
pattern and send an alert or the option to trade it. The candlestick
pattern is to have variables that adjust the body sizes for sequential candles.
These variables are:
(1)The number of candle sticks in the pattern. Minimum of three up to eight.
(2) The [Close – Open] range of each candlestick body to be
adjustable relative to the previous candle’s body range.
For example: The second candle in the series to have a range setting of say +10 to +80% of prior candle's body. Here the second candle’s body
would Close higher than the first candle’s Close by at least +10% but not more
than +80% of the first candle’s body range. Close long in this example. The next candle's body size, candle 3, would be specified relative to candle 2 and so on.
The option of closing below the previous candle is to be
included (a minus % of previous candles body range) for any candle in the series.
The aim is to attach the EA to all the charts within a profile and send an alert if the pattern is recognized in any of the charts.

I have a custom EA that works fine in the live market trading, but when doing a back test in the strategy tester , it does not open sell orders. There are no errors or warnings; it just doesn't open sell orders. I've checked every possible reason that might be the reason why it does not open sell orders, but I can't find anything, especially since it works fine in the real market and it opens both buys and sells
