Hey there,


I want to create an EA that opens and closes trades based on Hull moving average trends. Like any MA crossover method, it is based on a slow and a fast HMA. Only we do not open on crossover, but when fast en slow HMA have the same color.

Like in the indicators, trades can optionally be opened by fast or slow HMA. We use the change of a third HMA for closure of the trade. When in pofit and color changes, trade is closed. When in loss, Exit_HMA is disregarded.

Parameters:

  • Slow_HMAvg Parameters – Period, Method and Price 
  • Fast_HMAvg Parameters –  Period, Method and Price 
  • Exit_HMAvg Parameters  – Period, Method and Price
  • Exit_HMA Enable/disable
  • the Frequency of trades in the trend direction - frequency of signals in the trend direction:
    • Frequent signals (by switching Fast HMA) - frequent signals by switching of the fast HMA in the direction of the slow HMA
    • Rare signals (by switching Slow HMA)) - rare signals by switching of the slow HMA
  • Lot Sizing options
    • Lot as % of equity
    • Fixed lotsize
    • Stoploss in pips (SL must be virtual to avoid broker manipulation)
  • Magic number
  • Comment
And some other stuff. Very simple, very straightforward.
