Simple modification to add virtual counts of trades for martingale trades before taking the real trades

I am trying to avoid carrying excessive amounts of DD when EA carries a series of trades into 12 or more levels (see example image attached).  Is it possible to keep track of first trade(s) virtually, then execute real trade(s) at a specified lot size?

For this example, after the trigger it took trades at .01 lot and adding new trades when trade goes against the original trade direction. The goal would be to “virtually” track the first 9 trades, then execute the first real trade at .09 lot size or any specified lot size.

EA not opening sell orders in strategy tester 30+ USD
I have a custom EA that works fine in the live market trading, but when doing a back test in the strategy tester , it does not open sell orders. There are no errors or warnings; it just doesn't open sell orders.
