Simple EA to trade Open Range Breakout strategy based on first 5 min candle of Nasdaq 100.

Should be easy enough to code for a MQL4 developer.

Strategy is as follows: 

1. Check the first 5 minute open candle of cash session i.e. 9:30am NY time/ 2.30pm UK time, and buy at market if first candle is green or sell at market if red at the start of the 2nd 5min candle i.e. 9.35am NY time/ 2.35pm UK time. No trade to be taken if the first candle is a Doji i.e. open price = close price for the candle. Position sizing should be configurable such that you can either risk defined size or risk a percent of the account. Default should be risking 1% of account each trade and working backwards to determine position size. The risked amount whether in money value, lot size or % of account should be configurable. The first candle time for the Long/Short assesment should be adjustable i.e. first 5 (default), 10 or 15mins etc. 
    
2. The stop loss should be 5% of the 14-day ATR of the instrument (ideally the cash session if possible but whole session is also ok). This 5% number needs to be adjustable. 
   
   
3. Otherwise the trade should stay open until the close of the cash session where any positions are closed at the close auction uncross time 4pm NY time/ 9pm UK time. There should be an option to use a trailing stop once a trade is in profit by a certain number of points.

Notes:

• I will be trading this through IG UK so be careful to watch out for session times UK vs US (taking into account daylight savings times etc as the year goes on).
