Tarea técnica
I am currently facing an issue where my MT5 EA is occasionally trying to fire off orders for the maximum lots my broker will allow. My EA works right most of the time and this only happens sometimes. I am looking for help with 2 things.
1. Troubleshooting on why this might be happening.
2. If it cannot be diagnosed, then to develop a separate EA that will disable orders if over a specified lot amount, where I can change this amount easily.
Again, most of the time my EA works well but if I'm trying to trade an Index my broker allows a ton of leverage and my worst nightmare is one of these orders for max lots going through.
I made a bot with similar parameters to the one I'm using to show how the SL and risk is calculated. It is attached. Its not an issue with the calculation as I made a similar one using an ATR based stop and still had the same occasional issue.
I made this EA myself using EAbuilder.com and have a low level understanding of the MQL5 language.
